BB Training Academy prides itself on the quality standards and awards that it has achieved. We believe that by achieving these it reflects our commitment to supporting our learners fulfill their potential through a high quality training experience.


In 2017 BB Training Academy was awarded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. The report confirms the high quality, teaching, learning and assessment and leadership and management which ensure outstanding outcomes for the learners.

Ofsted highlighted that the rates of achievement of qualifications are very high and improving; most apprentices achieve their qualifications in the planned period.  Ofsted also recognises highly skilled training officers provide excellent coaching, guidance and support to the apprentices; as a result, apprentices become very skilled at evaluating and improving their skills as childcare, catering and management professionals.

Now in its second year, the Princess Royal Training Awards honours employers in the UK who have created outstanding training and skills development programmes which have resulted in exceptional commercial benefits. The Princess Royal Training Awards recognise the achievement of a standard of excellence.

The awards are supported by the City & Guilds Group President, HRH The Princess Royal, who is an active advocate for skills development.

We were assessed against three Hallmarks of Excellence and had to prove that:

BB Training Academy was presented with the Apprenticeship Programme of the Year at the esteemed Tes FE Awards.

We were presented the award in recognition of our Ofsted outstanding rated courses and for our 89 per cent success rate across all our apprenticeship programmes – compared with a UK average of 65 per cent.
