Busy Bees Training joined ‘the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ on 24th and 25th September at our offices at Latchford House in Shenstone. Our efforts raised over £250 which will help Macmillan Cancer Support make sure no one has to face cancer alone.
Every Busy Bees department at Latchford House, including Busy Bees Training, Busy Bees Benefits and the Busy Bees Estates, IT department and Finance teams, joined together to enjoy a selection of delicious home baked (and a few shop-bought!) cakes, cookies and pastries served with a cup of tea or coffee to raise money for the very worthy cause.
Busy Bees Training fundraise throughout the year for many worthy causes. Training Manager Fay Gibbin said of our latest efforts “We had a fantastic two days sampling the cakes and treats on offer, mostly made by members of the Busy Bees staff. There was a vibrant and upbeat atmosphere as people volunteered their time to join us and generously donated to support the cause.
“Macmillan is a fantastic charity that does a lot of great work across the UK and we wanted to raise as much money as possible to help those that need it.”
Last year across the UK, Macmillan Coffee Morning events raised £25m to provide people living with cancer with medical, emotional and practical support to both them and their families, ensuring that no one faces cancer alone.
