Fundraising For Royal Manchester Children's Hospital 28 - Oct - 2015

Our fundraising efforts for The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital are still going strong!

Jenny Berry, our training officer for the North West, and her husband, Steven, are on a mission to raise as much funds as possible for the hospital after their little girl, Daisy, was diagnosed with the rare condition Pallister-Killian Syndrome.  Having received so much of Daisy’s care at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Jenny and Steven wanted to raise some money for the hospital that continues to care for their daughter.

Three of our learners, Sarah, Faye and Lucy, along with staff and children at Busy Bees in Lytham held a sponsored ‘pyjama day’ at the nursery, which has helped bring the total raised by Jenny and her family and friends  so far to a huge £23,000! Here Fay, who is currently undertaking her level 3 apprenticeship,  and children from the nursery show us a glimpse of all the fabulous pyjamas worn on the day.

We’d like to say a big well done and thank you to everyone involved!
