We’re on a roll! Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we’re pleased to announce we’ve achieved a Festival of Learning award for our commitment to staff development and lifelong learning.
Sponsored by NOCN, we’re officially one of the top employers in the Midlands for providing excellent apprenticeship and training programmes where staff and learners go on to become the future of our organisation.
The award celebrates businesses that have used learning proactively to develop and utilise the skills of their workforce to improve productivity, raise morale, increase staff retention and enhance their business performance.
2017 got off to an absolute flyer when we became part of an elite group of training providers to receive an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report across the board and we couldn’t be more delighted with this latest award.
Stephen Evans, Chief Executive at Learning and Work Institute, said:
“This award shows what can be achieved when businesses think creatively about staff training. Busy Bees Childcare are worthy winners for their excellent use of the apprenticeships programme, which provide employment on completion, complimented by extra learning which adds value to their business, their staff and of course their customers.
“Lifelong learning is crucial for all of us as jobs and society changes around us, and as the working population gets older. Festival of Learning is all about people and businesses being inspired by stories like Busy Bees Childcare. We encourage employers and individuals to get involved in learning through apprenticeships, workplace training, and learning more generally. Speak to your employer and workplace colleagues about boosting learning at work; talk to the National Careers Service about the learning and support available such as through Advanced Learner Loans; and find out from your local college and providers what’s on in your area.”
