BB Training Academy offer Customer Service Apprenticeships at Intermediate (Level 2) and Advanced (Level 3).

This qualification is ideal for those employed in a role that is primarily customer service based or involves aspects of providing and improving customer service.

Customer Service Level 2 (Intermediate) and Customer Service Level 3 (Advanced)


The Customer Service Apprenticeships comprises of the following components:

Diploma in Customer Service (QCF) (SVQ)

The Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas have been designed to aid and develop learner’s development in a Customer Service role or in roles that involve providing customers with outstanding service and develop customer service skills that compliment their core competencies.

The qualification is flexible, offering a vast range of optional units enabling learners to choose units that best suit their job role, whilst at the same time ensuring that essential areas of knowledge, skill and competence from the customer service sector are covered.

Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT

These skills recognise and develop the skills needed to function in work, learning and life and involve you choosing and using your skills to solve problems you may experience.

If you already hold qualifications in Maths, English and ICT, you may be exempt from completing this component of the apprenticeship.


The duration of this Intermediate apprenticeship is 12 months and 18 months for the Advanced apprenticeship

Employment, Rights and Responsibilities

This unit enables you to gain information about careers, contracts and legislation, along with employer and learner rights. This is gained through the completion of an assignment and is one of the optional units for the Customer Service Apprenticeship.

Personal, Learning and Thinking Skills

This part of the framework comprises of six groups of skills, which are essential to success in work, learning and life. They develop your skills in managing relationships with others and managing your own learning, performance and work to enable you to enter work and adult life as a confident and capable individual.

Entry requirements

· Must be employed in a role which involves provision of Customer Service.
