Business Administration Level 2 (Intermediate)


The Business Administration Intermediate Apprenticeship comprises of the following components:


Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration (QCF) (SVQ)


The Level 2 diploma has been designed to recognise the learners’ skills, knowledge and overall performance within an administrative support role.

It assesses learners' abilities to understand and carry out a range of administrative tasks and has been designed to accredit their achievements in a modern, practical way that is relevant to the work context and aids career progression.
 
The qualification is flexible, offering a vast range of optional units enabling learners to choose units that best suit their job role, whilst at the same time ensuring that essential areas of knowledge, skill and competence from the administrative sector are covered.

 

Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT

These skills recognise and develop the skills needed to function in work, learning and life and involve you choosing and using your skills to solve problems you may experience.

If you already hold qualifications in Maths, English and ICT, you may be exempt from completing this component of the apprenticeship.

Employment, Rights and Responsibilities

This unit enables you to gain information about careers, contracts and legislation, along with employer and learner rights. This is gained through the completion of an assignment and is one of the optional units for the Level 2 Business Administration.

Personal, Learning and Thinking Skills

This part of the framework comprises of six groups of skills, which are essential to success in work, learning and life. They develop your skills in managing relationships with others and managing your own learning, performance and work to enable you to enter work and adult life as a confident

Entry requirements

To be suitable for an Intermediate Apprenticeship with Busy Bees Training Academy, you will need:

• To ideally have (or expected to achieve) a GCSE grade D or above in English and Maths
• To be able to commit to your training for a period of 14 months and have a longterm
   commitment to working in the childcare sector

 

Business Administration Level 3 (Advanced)


This apprenticeship qualification is ideal for administrators with supervision or team leading responsibilities. It is also ideal for those working in a legal environment or personal secretary roles.


The apprenticeship framework comprises of the following components:


Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (QCF) (SVQ)

The qualifications will help you to gain all the skills you need to complete more challenging administration tasks such as, negotiation techniques, resolving problems and contributing to business performance.

The qualification is flexible enabling you to select units that are relevant to your role.

 

Functional Skills at Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT

These skills recognise and develop the skills needed to function in work, learning and life and involve you choosing and using your skills to solve problems you may experience.

If you already hold a level 2 qualification in English, Maths and ICT you may be exempt from this element of the framework.
