Being healthy is not just about eating lots of fruit and drinking 8 glasses of water each day. It's about young people enjoying a healthy lifestyle, feeling good about themselves and having good emotional and mental health. We recognise this and ensure that that we support and educate all our learners throughout their programme in staying healthy
Busy Bees Academy is totally committed to support all young people who are on one of our training programmes to stay safe from harm.
This is evident in our latest Ofsted report where Ofsted reported that
‘Learners demonstrate a very good understanding of the importance of safeguarding children that informs their practice well. They recognise the importance of working closely with colleagues, parents and carers to plan and promote children's learning within a safe environment. Learners adopt safe working practices and are able to identify key personnel should a problem arise.’
We help and support our learners to make good progress in their work and personal development and to enjoy their education. To celebrate success we hold annual awards ceremonies and have an ongoing reward scheme.
Throughout the training programme learners are supported to make a positive contribution, encouraging them to be involved in decision making and help and support them develop positive relationships with different people. We also help develop self-confidence and successfully deal with significant life changes and challenges.
Throughout the programme learners are provided with access to good, impartial information, advice and guidance and the encouragement to develop the skills and behaviour needed for economic well-being, such as skills to ensure effective studying or working life.
